Search engine submission was very important in promoting our blog and many of bloggers familiar about this. But many bloggers still cant drive traffic through search engines to our blog and frustrated about this. And moreover even if you write top quality articles nobody sees it ultimately you will end up in a failure. So here we going to see some of the important steps to submit your blog to major search engines Google, Bing, Yahoo and Yandex.

SUBMITTING BLOG TO GOOGLE:
Google has provided variety of tools to submitting your blog but the best of all is to have a account in Google so that you can sign in to Webmaster tools. With having account in Google Webmaster, you can have the power to track your submission stats and it provides many interactive tools to make your submission better.

1. Go to Google Webmaster , if you already have a google account sign in with it or else you have to create one.
2. Then add your site URL using the Add your site Option in the tool bar.
3. It will ask you to submit a sitemap for your blog, if you dont have one you can create it here.
4. You need to verify the ownership of your site.
5. Submitting your site and your done, all you have to do then is to wait for google to index posts in your blog.

Sitemaps is used to direct Google bots with ease to your site so that index will be faster and easier. While creating sitemaps using the above tool it gives you a series of code as output all you have to do is copy your sitemap. Finally your sitemap will look like this

SUBMITTING BLOG TO BING AND YAHOO:

Bing and Yahoo have been integrated so submission to these search engines will be very easy as both of these the same submission in their search.The rules to Google webmaster applies here to so here also you need to create a account in Bing webmaster tools.

1. Create a account in the Bing Webmaster
2. Add your URL to the webmaster. 
3. Then submit your sitemap to it.
4. Verify ownership and you are done.

SUBMITTING YOUR BLOG TO YANDEX:
It was a Russian Search engine, it can potentially drive visitors to your blog as it holds a significant position in the list of major search engines. Create an account in Yandex Webmaster and the rest of the steps are similar to the one for Google webmaster.
