Blogger provides variety of templates and rich colors to set up your blog look. And of those you should some base colors to make your blog's theme. The theme of a blog is not only for attraction it also reflects what your blog is about. Once you have selected your theme color you should not change it as it may confuse or irritate the visitors. You can change the style of the blog by adding widgets,images,banner but never change your blog's theme color. For professional and classy look i strongly recommend to use white with black, blue with white. Applying light theme colors will add attractiveness and clean look to your blog. Always remember that you should put your visitors interest at first place so avoiding picking your favorite colors instead pick color that can give your blog a professional look.

This is an important step for your blog building.You should submit your blog to all primary search engines. Submitting blogs to search engines increase the probability of your blog to be seen by the visitors. However it will take some time for search engines to index posts in your site. So this is your third step create accounts in social media like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Stumbleupon, Reddit and gain traffic through it. Believe me Social sites can change your blog's traffic drastically, all you have to do is write attractive contents and present it well in social sites.

UNDERGO RESEARCH THROUGH SEVERAL SITES/BLOG OF YOUR NICHE : 

When you are a new blogger you should understand how things are going up in the internet based on your areas. So go through several sites and try to figure out how to write articles about your niche and how to implement your ideas in it. If you need to monetize your blog, do it after it attains some popularity and traffic from the search engines. I would say you think about making money after four to six months of blogging. So  change your motto of blogging to "Educate and get Educated" and you will be a successful blogger.
